Pageant tips for Girls x

I was asked for advice today from a young budding beauty queen and thought i would pass on the tips to you lovely bunch of people. Get ready for a girls night in:)  xx

Tip 1: weight loss.. just stay healthy, eat healthy and stay active and you will be fine.

Tip 2:Watch other large pageants on youtube especially the winners see how they walk stand act speak, you also find pageant training classes on how to walk dress prepare for a pageant on the same site.

Tip 3:Have a look in current mags for fashion tips but dress in your own style as it show personal style and personalty! for gowns without a  sponsor have a look on ebay, i just bought a new one for £14 from china and i use to spend up to £1000 on just one!

Tip4:Really work on your walk..Clear the room ladies and practice in your heals & gown, note that a pageant walk is different from catwalk for a fashion shows! ( refer to the online pageant-walk training vids on youtube)

Tip 5:Practice your interview and talent as this maybe needed  some point in your pageant career!

Tip 6:BE CONFIDENT , deliver all you do with confidence! & be your self so your personality shows as you will only have up to 5 rounds to showcase this and you  will only be on stage for a very short time so make the most of your time!

Tip 7: A true queen becomes active in charity work.. have a look on www.justgiving.com find a charity you like and register.. its free fun worth while and you can help the community,  take part in local charity events..and again contact the press b4 & after you have taken part if relevant.

Tip8: contact the press. If you have been selected to be a regional national or international contestant or finalist the press may print a story, even more so if you are supporting a charity as it will benefit first most the charity platform & of course you.

Tip 9 Sponsors: you dont always need one but you can normally find one by offering to promote their company on social networking sites like Facebook and twitter, on your blog or website etc , on the pageant your representing website, program ,publicity&in any press you receive including attending your sponsors events & being photographed in their clothes etc .. Make sure you can deliver what is arranged and falls inline with the pageant your representing policy & T&C.
Tip 10:If under the age of 18 always take a parent  to in all you do!!!!!!  if under 21 still bring a adult always, read the small print and never sign anything without doing this first&  take your time! Never be scare to ask questions! Knowledge is the key to success ladies:)
Tip 11: God Loves A Trier!

Love & Light x
